Free WiFi via Nintendo Zone for 3DS

Nintendo has made live a free WiFi service for all 3DS members, with over 25,000 hotspots across Europe.

The service, Nintendo Zone, is location based and an interactive service which allows not only internet connection, but access to upcoming game trailers, product information and screenshots, as well as game demos and free video clips.

Nintendo Zone is available only after the latest system update, and you'll be able to find your nearest connection through the Hotspot finder tool. When you're in the vicinity of a Nintendo Hotspot, the Nintendo Zone icon will blink to notify you that you're in the area of WiFi.

No news of a system being rolled out across the Middle East, although we believe that there needs to be a better digital infrastructure before that happens.
