Microsoft thinking of Gamescom press conference

Microsoft is reportedly looking into holding a press conference at Gamescom next month.

CVG claims to have learnt from sources that Microsoft is planning an E3 style conference to show off upcoming games and possibly reveal new ones.

If it happens it would be the first conference that Microsoft has held at Gamescom and prove that the company is looking to gain a better position in Europe.

Microsoft is keeping quiet on its plans for now, only saying that more details will be announced in the near future.

Earlier this week Don Mattrick left his position as Xbox boss to become CEO of Zynga.
