Update: Xbox One headset listing "a mistake"
Update
Gem has confirmed that the Xbox One listing was a mistake and the console won't come packaged with a headset afterall.
======
The Xbox One console will now come with a headset included in the box, according to a revised product description.
The description is listed on Gem, the only official UK distributer for Microsoft Studios and Xbox products.
Originally the company planned to package the headset seperately, although the Kinect was mentioned as a possible substitute with its voice recognition features.
Having a headset included with the console would signal yet another U-turn by Microsoft since the Xbox One was announced.
Back in May it was revealed that the Xbox One would need to connect online once every 24 hours to work properly, and there would be restrictions on playing used games.
Since then Microsoft has removed all of the controversial DRM policies to make the console fall in line with what the PlayStation 4 is offering.
