Diablo 3 global launch 14 May

Diablo 3 will launch globally on 14 May, with gamers in London able to buy the game an hour earlier according to Blizzard.

"Diablo 3 will go on sale at midnight on May 14/15, so be among the first to get your hands on the Collector’s Edition! Blizzard Entertainment developers will be on-site to sign copies and meet players, and attendees will have a chance to participate in organized activities and win great prizes," says the Blizzards events page.

In London helping with the launch will be senior world designer on the game Leonard Boyarsky.

The game will be launched at events in US, Moscow, Berlin, Warsaw, Paris, Stockholm, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore. The servers are due to go live not long after midnight BST.
