Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus announced as PS3 exclusive

Insomniac Games has announced a new Ratchet & Clank game, heading exclusively to the PlayStation 3.

Into the Nexus is set to be the first 'traditional' Ratchet & Clank game since 2009, and it'll be out before the end of the year.

Insomniac is saying that Into the Nexus will feature new 'crazy' weapons that the series is known for, as well as gadgets that can control gravity.

"We're excited to announce that Ratchet & Clank are returning this year with an all new original single-player epilogue to the Future games," wrote community lead James Stevenson on the PS Blog.

"Under the creative direction of Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time creative director Brian Allgeier, Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is a story-driven platform adventure, with the humour and heart that make the franchise so beloved."
