Microsoft won't release Xbox One without Kinect

Microsoft doesn't have any plans to release the Xbox One without the Kinect.
Earlier this week there were rumours that Microsoft was thinking of releasing a cut-price Xbox One sometime in 2014 that didn't come with a Kinect.
However the platform holder quickly put an end to the speculation, saying that it believes in the Kinect technology.
"We have no plans to introduce an Xbox One without Kinect," said Microsoft in a statement.
"We believe in Kinect and the value it brings to both games and entertainment, and believe $499 USD is a great value for what consumers receive with their Xbox One."
The Xbox One is set to launch later this year for a price of $499 USD.
