Crackdown is free Xbox Live Gold game

Microsoft has revealed the latest game in its Xbox Live Gold promotion as open-world action title Crackdown.

It normally costs £11.99 GBP on the Xbox marketplace but now Gold members can download it for free until 15 August.

The next free game in the promotion was also revealed to be Dead Rising 2 and DLC pack Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.

Those represent an even greater saving, as they're usually priced at £19.99 GBP and 400 Microsoft Points respectively.

The Dead Rising deals will begin on 16 August.
