No offline co-op for Splinter Cell: Blacklist on Wii U

Ubisoft has confirmed that the Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist will not come with offline co-op.
Game producer Liu Jun revealed that adding the mode would have just taken too long.
However Wii U players will still get the chance to take part in an online co-op mode.
"In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren't able to delve into this feature," Jun told Nintendo Life.
"But we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles."
Other than that the Wii U version will be the same as other versions, but with added features such as GamePad functionality.
Jun also said that the Wii U version should receive the same DLC content post-launch.
