Full rundown of Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer
Yesterday Activision lifted the lid on the multiplayer portion of upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts, revealing details of new modes and destructible environments.
An hour-long presentation took place with Activision boss Eric Hirshberg eager to show off footage of the multiplayer for the first time.
During the event a new gameplay mode called Cranked was detailed, where kills make you faster but set off a timer that has to be topped up with other kills.
Interestingly, once the countdown gets to zero you explode.
A Search and Rescue mode was also revealed where teammates can revive each other.
When players are killed they drop dog tags, so if a teammate picks up that dog tag then that player is revived.
Alternatively is an enemy grabs the dropped dog tag first then that player is out of the round.
Squads were also unveiled, where players will have a team of ten soldiers to customise instead of just one single character.
Each soldier has his own XP count and equipment, and you can even Prestige each character separately.
This branches out further into the Squads mode, where you can take your Squads and match them up against others to see who comes out on top.

Dynamic Map Events were also spoken about, which work much the same as Battlefield.
These events can be triggered during games and they change the layout of the maps so that players have to think on their feet.
They can involve busses falling from cliffs or petrol stations exploding, leading to something of a destructible environment.
Call of Duty: Ghosts launches later this year.
