PlayStation 4 gets release date

Sony finally unveiled the release date for the PlayStation 4, giving the console a 29 November launch across Europe.

The platform holder also revealed that the console would be available to purchase in North America from 15 November.

Sony's Andrew House confirmed the dates during Sony's Gamescom conference earlier today, where he also said that 32 countries would get the PS4 before the end of 2013.

Apparently over 1million pre-orders have also been placed for the console worldwide.
