The struggling PlayStation Vita handheld has finally been given a price cut by Sony, while the PlayStation 3 will also see a discount.
The news was announced during Sony's Gamescom conference earlier today, and it'll see the Vita drop down to $199 USD in North America and €199 EUR in Europe.
Vita memory cards will also see a significant reduction, although exact prices are yet to be revealed.
12GB PS3's will be discounted to $199 USD and €199 EUR, while Sony also revealed a new scheme which will see players being able to download digital versions of games on the PlayStation 4 for a cheaper price if they have the game on the PS3.
Excitingly it was also confirmed that smash hit Borderlands 2 will be making it's debut on the Vita later this year.
