The Crew: Driving from East to West coast takes 90 minutes

Upcoming MMO racer The Crew will have an open world so huge that it takes 90 minutes to drive from one end to the other.

Developer Julian Gerighty told ArabicGamers that the world is a reduced version of the United States but there is still plenty to see and explore.

The time taken to drive across the whole map is even longer if you go off-road.

"It's a reduced scale, we want to keep things fun and varied," said Gerighty.

"LA to Vegas, it's a pretty boring drive. So for us to drive from the East Coast to the West Coast is going to take about an hour and a half in a very fast performance car.

"But if you go off-road, about two hours and a half. If you want to go round the circumference, about four hours.

"It's a massive world, but still something you can do in a single gameplay session if you will."

The Crew launches early 2014 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and we'll have much more on it in the coming weeks.
