Battlefield 4 launching with 10 modes and 7 maps

DICE has announced that Battlefield 4 will launch with seven multiplayer modes, which will be available to play across 10 maps.

That includes two new modes to Battlefront: Obliteration and Defuse.

Obliteration tasks teams with picking up a bomb from a random location and setting it off at an enemy base.

Once a bomb has detonated a new one is spawned and the race is on again, with the winning team being the first one to destroy three objectives.

Defuse has been described as "an even tighter and quicker infantry-only game mode" where players "don't have any respawns at all".

The other modes include Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Rush, Domination and Conquest.
