GTA 5 has 15 radio stations and 240 licensed songs
Upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 will feature 15 radio stations and 240 licensed songs, according to Rockstar soundtrack supervisor Ivan Pavlovich.
The soundtrack in GTA 5 is said to be the biggest than the studio has ever done, while there will also be two talk radio stations for players to listen to.
"For this game, which is set in our version of modern day Los Angeles, what was important for us was to capture that feeling of LA and California," Pavlovich told Rolling Stone.
"We approached the radio stations as the musical soundscape [you experience] as you fly into LA. One of the thing we've never done in a GTA game before is a pop station; exploring that made so much sense in the context of LA."
The soundtrack will also feature a lot of unreleased songs that have been newly created for GTA 5.
GTA 5 will launch 17 September on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while an official trailer is scheduled to drop later today.
