Assassin's Creed Pirates heading to mobile devices
Ubisoft has unveiled Assassin's Creed Pirates, a mobile spin-off heading to smartphones and tablets later this year.
Pirates will put players in control of Alonzo Batilla, who meets the likes of Blackbeard, Bellamy and Hornigold on his seafaring adventures through the Caribbean.
The game is solely focused around the naval portion from Assassin's Creed games, and players will manage their crew, upgrade their ship and take part in battles.
There'll be a day and night cycle and even dynamic weather conditions that have an impact on gameplay.
Ubisoft claims it will feature groundbreaking 3D graphics and bring "a new visual standard on mobile".
Assassin's Creed Pirates hasn't been given a firm release date, but we'll bring you more as soon as we hear it.
