Rainbow Six Vegas is free Xbox Live Gold game

Microsoft has confirmed that Rainbow Six Vegas is now available to Xbox Live Gold members as a free download.

The squad-based shooter replaces Magic as a free game for September.

The Games with Gold promotion is expected to run until December this year, so there's another six free games still to come.

Microsoft has previously revealed that Halo 3 will be one of the free games offered, but all the others remain a mystery until later.
