"Hundreds of ideas" for Xbox TV

There are "literally hundreds of ideas" when it comes to creating Xbox TV content, according to Microsoft's Phil Spencer.

The Xbox One will feature exclusive TV shows as Microsoft hopes to appeal to the whole family instead of just gamers.

The only announced series so far has been a Steven Spielberg directed Halo program, but apparently there is much more to come from the Xbox TV studio in Los Angeles.

"They have literally hundreds of ideas that they are incubating right now," Spencer told Bloomberg.

"We will have some new announcements for TV shows coming pretty soon."

Spencer also spoke about sports programs, saying that they are a "very interesting category globally".
