Valve reveals Steam Controller
Valve has made its final big announcement of the week by revealing the Steam Controller, designed to be used with Steam Machines.
The controller has two trackpads included instead of the more traditiional analogue sticks, and they're said to offer the same precision as a desktop mouse.
It will work with all Steam games, even those that don't have controller support.
"Whole genres of games that were previously playable with a keyboard and mouse are now accessible from the sofa," said Valve.
"RTS games. Casual, cursor-driven games. Strategy games. 4x space exploration games. A huge variety of indie games. Simulation titles. And of course, Euro Truck Simulator 2."
Both trackpads are clickable so they can also be used as buttons, and there are 14 other inputs in the Steam Controller.
There's also a touchscreen in the middle which allows players to input different commands.
Valve has previously suggested that more controllers will be coming to the Steam Machines so we could well see several different designs.
