Half-Life 3 trademark registered
Valve has filed a trademark for Half-Life 3, fuelling rumours that the eagerly anticipated title is finally in development.
The trademark was filed under video game software late last month.
In addition Valve's internal database to keep track of projects was briefly made visible to the public, and Half-Life 3 was one of the games listed.
Apparently there are 46 members of staff working on it, and another 10 staff are working on something called Half-Life 3 Core.
Insiders are claiming that Half-Life 3 would be the perfect IP for Valve to use as it prepares to launch the recently announced Steam Machines in 2014.
Fans have been patiently waiting for a new title in the hit franchise to come along since Half-Life 2 was released back in 2004.
