Sony has announced a PlayStation 3 firmware update hitting consoles today.
The latest update will bring the software up to version 4.50, including a number of features that were previously only available to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Players will now be able to transfer data from their PS3's and PlayStation Vita's using Wi-Fi or an ethernet connection.
You'll also be able to hide Trophies that you've earned in your privacy settings, in case for some reason you don't want people to know.
Future system software updates can now be auto-downloaded while auto-downloads will start for purchases made over the web version of the PlayStation Store.
