Rockstar has ideas for Grand Theft Auto 6

Rockstar already has "some ideas" in place for a Grand Theft Auto 6.

GTA 5 launched last month to massive sales and praise from critics, where it went on to generate $1billion USD in just three days.

Rockstar North producer Leslie Benzies has claimed that while GTA 5 DLC and GTA Online is the focus right now, that doesn't mean that ideas haven't already been thought up for a new installment.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," he told Develop.

"We don't know what GTA 6 will be, but we've got some ideas.

"GTA Online is the focus right now. There's ain't no rest between finishing 5 and then Online. Plus we have some other things - stuff, DLC, I don't know how to describe it exactly - that we'd like to do, and we'll pick the right ones."

GTA Online users are currently experiencing problems when trying to access the mode, which Rockstar is currently working on fixing.
