Assassin's Creed 4 getting 'Freedom Cry' DLC

Ubisoft has revealed the first expansion pack for yet to be released Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

Freedom Cry is set to launch before March 2014 and lets players take on the role of Adewale from the main story.

The add-on is set 15 years after Black Flag and contains nine missions.

"Born a slave, Adewale found freedom as a pirate abroad the Jackdaw as Captain Edward Kenway's second-in-command," said Ubisoft.

"Fifteen years later, Adewale has become a trained assassin and finds himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue with no weapon nor crew, starting a new adventure of his own."

Freedom Cry will be included in the Assassin's Creed 4 Season Pass, but a price has yet to be announced.
