Need for Speed Rivals is next-gen launch title

EA has confirmed that Need for Speed Rivals will be a launch title for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

This means that next-gen players will get their hands on Need for Speed just days after the current-gen release of 19 November.

Rivals lets players take on the role of racers or cops, with each side being given a specific set of challenges and rewards.

Yesterday it was revealed that Rivals would feature a bigger map than last year's Most Wanted game, designed for players to speed around at 200mph.
