Soul Sacrifice on Vita details emerge
After news yesterday of a new Soul Sacrifice title will be making its way to the Vita, more information has been released on the horror title.
Sony has said that a full announcement can be expected tomorrow, or 10 May, but it seems as though that information has already been leaked.
The game will take place inside a special book which appears before the game's protagonist just before he uses a sacrificial offering. What exactly that offering is, or how it ties into the story, we're not sure. We do know, however, that this is a demon book and details fights throughout the ages between sorcerers and monsters. As the protagonist, you re-live these stories as you enter the book.
The enemies are allegedly former humans that have surrendered their humanity by using too much magic.
Sounds like a cross between The Never Ending Story and Assassin's Creed…
There hasn't been a huge amount of games in the Vita space since launch, even Miyamoto has said he wasn't that impressed with the offerings available for the handheld, but Soul Sacrifice may be one of many other titles we could expect to see in the upcoming months.
The game will support four different players and will feature a multiplayer gaming experience, although we're not quite sure how it'll work yet, especially if you're playing through the stories in the book. Drop-in-drop-out maybe?
From reports on PocketGamer it appears as if you'll be able to sacrifice other players too, as well as change up your character's appearance and style.
Keep posted for more information tomorrow.
