Dead Space 3 leak

Rumours have surfaced regarding Dead Space 3 after EA confirmed the game will be released this financial year.

According to reports across the web, there have been rumours of settings, characters and story, as well as combat, enemies and co-op gameplay.

It's been suggested that Dead Space 3 could see the ever more popular drop-in-drop-out gameplay mechanic for multiplayer. According to reports on xbox360a, Isaac and his companion explore the environment they have crashed into, with the gameplay mechanic in mind, you'll be able to heal each other, share weapons and ammo as well as solve puzzles with each other too.

The co-op companion comes after previous reports that Isaac will start losing his mind and create an imaginary alter-ego.

Furthermore, you can expect a much more fluid third-person game mechanic with cover and crouch rumoured to be in the makings too. All weapons will feature new alternative fire modes.

You can also expect to see the return of the Necromorphs in some capacity or another, and they're said to have legs and/or tentacles in place of the body. They're also bigger and there are other monsters to fight too, including a "skyscraper-sized" worm. Resistance or Gears influences?!

This will all take place on a cold and icy planet, and you can also expect to see Isaac fight some humans too. Infected humans no less.
