Sony has released a massive FAQ for the PlayStation 4, confirming that the ability to upload gameplay videos to YouTube won't be available at launch.

A big feature that both Sony and Microsoft have been hyping for the next-generation consoles is the sharing of gameplay videos.

However you won't be able to upload your clips to the biggest video site in the world at launch, just Ustream and Twitch.

Sony also confirmed that players might not be able to upload footage from spoiler-heavy portions of games.

"Users may not be able to record certain areas within the game," said Sony.

"Developers can select the area of restriction, and what will be restricted will depend on game titles. In these cases, recording will be temporarily suspended during the scene."

The platform-holder also confirmed that players won't be able to connect the console to an external hard drive.

However they will be able to swap out a hard drive as long as it is no thicker than 9.5mm and no larger than 160GB.

Disappointingly players won't be able to upload MP3s to their PS4, instead having to use Sony's Music Unlimited service if they want to listen to certain tracks.

Check out the official PS4 FAQ for all the details.
