Eidos Montreal cancels unannounced project

Eidos Montreal has cancelled an unannounced project, according to a report.

Kotaku claims to have heard from two different developer sources who say that a game that had been in development has now been scrapped.

Other games from the studio - Thief and a new Deus Ex title - are said to be unaffected and will release as planned.

The sources also said that the game was a brand new IP connected to the Japanese branch of Square Enix.
