Killer Instinct is free for select Xbox fans
Microsoft is offering the full roster of fighters in Killer Instinct for free to selected Xbox fans.
The free-to-play beat 'em-up is releasing as an Xbox One launch title later this month, and players will have to pay money to unlock different characters.
Now Xbox fans have been receiving emails thanking them for their dedication to the platform and details on how to get the full roster for free.
"You're a fan of ours and we're a fan of yours," says the email.
"Thank you for your dedication to Xbox. We want to show you our appreciation, so we're giving you: Killer Instinct. We're unlocked all characters so you can hit the ground running.
"Watch your inbox on 22 November for instructions on how to claim your free gift."
It's not yet clear who qualifies to get the game for free, but plenty of people have already received the email.
Keep checking your inbox and let us know if you were one of the lucky ones.
