Minecraft PS3 edition almost ready

4J Studios has revealed that the PlayStation 3 edition of Minecraft is almost ready for testing.

An Xbox 360 version has been available for over a year now, but soon PS3 players will be able to get their hands on it.

"We're hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now," the studio tweeted.

"No confirmed dates yet - we'll let you know when we have dates for the other platforms."

There will also be a PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft, although that won't be available in time for launch.
