Xbox One user interface "will get better"

Microsoft has claimed that the Xbox One user interface will "get better" over time.

Some players have complained about the UI for the new console - including the friends and party system - believing that it's a step backwards from the Xbox 360.

Xbox Live director of programming Major Nelson said that Microsoft is aware of the issues and things will change.

"I had a meeting today about [the Xbox One party system] and I can say that things will get better," he said on Reddit.

"I can't offer a timeline of a list of what will be addressed first, but we are aware of the issue and things will get better."
