Evolve heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC

Left 4 Dead developer Turtle Rock Studios has announced new first-person shooter Evolve.

Coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in autumn 2014, Evolve is a "sci-fi multiplayer-focused shooter" that has a four-player team of hunters going up against a player-controlled monster.

The monster will continue to evolve, becoming larger and more powerful as the match progresses, and they'll leave tracks and clues for hunters to follow.

Hunters will be class based - with Assault, Medics, Support and Trappers - while there will be a progression system for both characters and items.

Weapons will have unlimited ammunition and hunters can only die and be revived three times before their game ends.

Apparently there is a single player experience as well, although Turtle Rock Studios isn't ready to talk about that just yet.
