Star Wars 1313 trademark has been abandoned

The trademark for video game Star Wars 1313 has now expired, making it very unlikely that work will ever resume on the cancelled title.

The application was abandoned on 23 December 2013 as "no Statement of Use or Extension Request [was] timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued".

Star Wars 1313 looked like an immensely promising game when it was revealed at E3 2012, but things all went downhill when Disney purchased LucasFilm in October of that year.

Star Wars 1313 studio LucasArts was then closed and the whole project was canned, and now it'll probably never see the light of day.
