Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is 60FPS on PS4

Crystal Dynamics has revealed that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be running at 60 frames-per-second on the PlayStation 4.

It was originally believed that the updated version of Tomb Raider would still be running at 30FPS, but that doesn't seem to be the case for Sony's new console.

"Looking here, this is the PS4 version running at 60FPS, again at 1080p," executive producer Scot Amos told GamesRadar.

"That's awesome for that to be able to showcase because when you get your hands on it you can feel it."

The performance of the Xbox One version was not mentioned, however there are reports circulating that it is stuck at 30FPS.

This could be the latest third-party game to arrive in lower quality on the Xbox One compared to its PS4 counterpart, following Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
