Microsoft to reveal new game, possibly Crackdown 3

Microsoft could be gearing up to reveal Crackdown 3 later today, according to tweets from Microsoft executives and Ruffian Games.

Yesterday Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer said on Twitter that he was "looking forward to a games announce coming early in the morning".

Then Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hyrb tweeted, "Looks like I've got a busy morning coming up tomorrow."

This morning, Crackdown 2 studio Ruffian Games also had something interesting to say.

"Morning! Feels like a good day for announcements doesn't it?"

Rumours of a Crackdown 3 announcement have been around since last year, when the Crackdown logo was spotted during the Xbox One reveal.
