God of War studio moving and expanding
God of War studio Sony Santa Monica is relocating into the Playa Vista area of Los Angeles for expansion, according to reports.
Variety claims that the move will take place this summer and the new 20-acre facility will provide a great opportunity for the studio to grow.
"We took some time to hone in on location," said Sony Santa Monica founder Shannon Studstill.
"We love Santa Monica. It's been our home for over a decade."
Apparently there will be "four or five times" more space in the new location, with more conference rooms, an improved sound bay and a motion capture studio.
It's unclear whether the studio's name will change due to the move.
Sony Santa Monica is currently believed to be working on an unannounced PlayStation 4 title, as well as helping other studios with development on The Order: 1886 and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.
