WWE 2K15 and NBA 2K15 heading to PS4 and Xbox One
Take-Two has confirmed that WWE will make its debut on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with WWE 2K15, alongside NBA 2K15.
Take-Two president revealed the news during an earnings call with investors last night.
"In addition, during fiscal 2015, consumers can look forward to exciting next generation releases from our NBA 2K and WWE franchises as well as other unannounced titles that promise to raise the bar for excellence.
"We will have more to share about our titles throughout the next several months as we head into E3."
Take-Two purchased the WWE license from THQ last year, and the first release - WWE 2K14 - was a lot more successful than the publisher predicted.
"Our WWE franchise has quickly proven to be a successful addition to our portfolio," added Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick.
"Sales of WWE 2K14 have exceeded our expectations and the title is being supported with add-on content including a Season Pass featuring many fan-favourite WWE superstars and legends."
WWE 2K15 and NBA 2K15 could also arrive on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, although Take-Two is deciding to keep quiet on that for now.
