Titanfall beta now open to all Xbox One players
Respawn Entertainment has decided to open up the Titanfall multiplayer beta test to all Xbox One users.
Previously players had to enter an exclusive access code to get into the beta, but now Respawn wants to get as many people online as possible to test the servers.
"We have limited server capacity for the beta, but would be good to hit that ceiling," Respawn founder Vince Zampella said on Twitter.
"Ok, just heard from [Respawn programmer Jon Shiring]. His words are 'Let's break it', so the plan is to make the beta fully open and have you max stress it!
"All the switches need to be flipped, and there are probably lots! It will take some number of time units to do it all!"
The Titanfall beta should already have appeared in the 'New Game Demos' section of the Xbox One Store.
The beta was originally scheduled to last until 19 February, but Zampella said that Respawn would extend it by at least a day to make up for server issues and down time.
An open beta for the PC version will also be arriving soon.
