PlayStation 4 sales hit 5.3 million
Language »
Sony has given us another update on the PlayStation 4 sales, claiming that the console has now been bought 5.3 million times worldwide.
That's for the period between launching on 29 November and 8 February.
Sony had previously hoped to sell 5 million units by the end of March, so the company is well ahead of its targets.
Those numbers will only grow with the console's imminent arrival in Japan on 22 February, where PlayStation machines often perform well.
The latest Xbox One figures show that the console had been bought 3 million times by the end of 2013.
