Xbox One Twitch broadcasting is better quality than PS4

The Xbox One offers better quality Twitch broadcasting than the PlayStation 4.

Users on Reddit analysed Major Nelson's Xbox One broadcast of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare footage, and found that the stream specifications were 1280x720 30 fps at around 2.5 Mbps.

That's higher quality than the PS4's 960x540 30 fps stream at around 1.7 Mbps.

The Xbox One Twitch app also lets users broadcast archives, something that the PS4 can't do.

Xbox One users have had to wait a long time to get Twitch streaming, but when it launches on 11 March it looks like they'll get the best version.
