2014 FIFA World Cup not localised into Arabic

Upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup will not be localised into Arabic, according to producer Matt Prior.

FIFA 14 was localised for the Middle East, with Arabic commentators providing authenticity for the players in those regions.

However the World Cup edition won't be supported in quite the same way.

"Unfortunately there are no plans, no," Prior told ArabicGamers when asked if the content is being localised for an Arabic audience.

The reason for this can be put down to the limited number of developer resources that EA can put towards a World Cup game.

The World Cup edition is only launching on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 - and not on the new consoles - as EA concentrates on filling those versions with plenty of content.
