Batman: Arkham Knight release date leaked, more details
Batman: Arkham Knight will launch 14 October for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, according to a promotional image for the game.
The image was found on the site of US retailer GameStop, with other sites simply saying, "Coming 2014".
More details of the game have also been revealed in GameInformer, and apparently the world in Arkham Knight is "roughly five times" larger than the one built for Arkham City.
This is partly due to the addition of the Batmobile, which means ramps, barriers and other cars will now be dotted around Gotham City.
"Arkham City was quite claustrophobic," game director Sefton Hill told the magazine. "Here we have a lot more negative space between the buildings so it's much easier and more enjoyable to glide around."
It was also confirmed that Arkham Knight wouldn't be making an appearance on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and there will be no multiplayer mode.
