Possible Xbox exclusive titles from Bungie published by Activision
The LA Times has revealed that Bungie and Activision have signed a contract for an MMO styled game exclusively for Xbox 360.
Drafted in 2010 the contract outlines a four-game deal for an "action shooter" codenamed Destiny.
The first game was due to be released in 2013 and a sequel was set to follow every other year after. It's claimed that the first game of the series would be exclusive to the Xbox platform, but later iterations would be released across all platforms. We reckon this may have something to do with the new generation of consoles due to be released 2013/14.
The game would also benefit from DLC too to supplement the game while gamers wait for the next instalment, and they've been rumoured to be called Comet and released annually.
In addition to this the contract revealed that Bungie could get a bonus of $2.5 million USD if the game averaged a rating of 90% or higher.
All of this is yet to be confirmed, but we could see a new franchise from the Halo developer in the coming months. What are your thoughts?
