Namco Bandai has given Dark Souls 2 a PC release date of 25 April.
The PC version offers higher resolution textures compared to the console versions, while there's also an "enhanced frame rate option".
"We're conscious of the high expectations from PC gamers and are working with FROMSOFTWARE in ensuring that the PC version of Dark Souls 2 offers the best experience possible," said Namco Bandai marketing director Mathieu Piau.
"After an amazing first opus, Dark Souls 2 promises an even more engaging, richer and challenging adventure that should please all gamers, regardless of their platform of choice."
The Xbox 360 and PS3 editions of Dark Souls 2 will be launching six weeks earlier on 14 March.
