Angry Birds Epic is a turn-based RPG

Rovio has revealed the first details for Angry Birds Epic, confirming it as a turn-based role-playing game.

First teased earlier this week, the newest Angry Birds title will feature a story-driven campaign and an in-depth crafting system.

Players will be able to make armour, potions and weapons in crafting, using resources won in the game or with real-world money.

An unfinished version will launch in Canada and Australia this week, with a full version being released later this year on iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8.
