World of Tanks Blitz enters closed beta

Wargaming has confirmed that World of Tanks Blitz has now entered closed beta.

Blitz is a mobile version of the free-to-play MMO World of Tanks, and last week over 150,000 people applied to take part in the beta.

There's 7v7 player-versus-player gameplay and over 80 military machines from the USA, Germany and USSR.

"Closed beta is something we have been looking forward to for a long time," said Wargaming's Andrey Ryabovol.

"We hope players enjoy participating in the testing and are anxious to hear their feedback."

The beta is being used to gather player feedback and use the information to help deliver a better final product.

You can access the beta on most iPads, Android and iOS phones, while sign-ups are still active at the official website.
