Latest Watch Dogs trailer was PS4 footage
The latest Watch Dogs trailer had footage taken from the PlayStation 4 version of the game, according to creative director Jonathan Morin.
The 'Welcome to Chicago' video was released last week to show off the graphics in Watch Dogs, as some fans were worried about the title receiving a visual downgrade since 2012.
Morin later revealed the trailer was made with footage from the PS4, however the PC version should offer the best graphical experience as it will "push the details better".
"Just to clarify: Our 'Welcome to Chicago' trailer is indeed PS4 Devkit footage," he wrote on Twitter.
"I know this is a popular question so there you go."
That statement will likely worry Xbox One fans, who have become used to seeing third-party games running better on the PS4.
Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition are games that look superior on the PS4 compared to the Xbox One.
Watch Dogs is gearing up for a 27 May launch on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with a Wii U release following later.
