Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor gets release date

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be launching 7 October for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

The game puts players in control of Talion, a slain ranger who has been resurrected by a mysterious Spirit.

His mission is to discover the origin of the Rings of Power and confront the ultimate nemesis.

Shadow of Mordor will feature an innovative 'Nemesis System', which dynamically generates unique enemies and creates an in-game hierarchy system based on the player's actions.

Those who pre-order the game will have access to an exclusive Dark Ranger bonus pack, offering a Dark Ranger character skin and a 'Test of Power' challenge mode, where players defeat Sauron's Captains to earn powerful Runes.
