The Last of Us on PS4 will run at 1080p
The Last of Us: Remastered on the PlayStation 4 will run at 1080p, and Naughty Dog is targeting 60 frames per second for the remake.
It'll also come with higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, as well as several other gameplay improvements.
All previously released DLC is also expected to be included, such as the Abandoned Territories Map Pack, Reclaimed Territories Map Pack and Left Behind single-player campaign.
The PS4 version has been in development for almost a year, with work starting on it after the PS3 version was complete.
"We weren't sure whether it was going to go anywhere," Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells told PlayStation Access, "but when we saw the fans clamouring for it we doubled down and put more effort behind it.
"The graphical fidelity has been turned up to 11, we've got 1080p, we're pushing the draw distances further, we're creating higher resolution character models, better lighting, better shadows..."
The Last of Us: Remastered is expected to hit the PlayStation 4 this summer.
