Countdown to E3 begins as EA dates press conference

EA is the first company to date its E3 2014 press conference, confirming it will take place Monday 9 June at 1pm PT.

No word has been given on what will be shown, but expect the yearly installments of FIFA and Need for Speed to be featured.

There will probably be an extended look at upcoming release Dragon Age: Inquisition, while we might even get a glimpse of a new Battlefield.

Fans will also be hoping to see the first gameplay footage of Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge 2 and a new Mass Effect.

Expect Microsoft, Ubisoft, Sony and Nintendo to date their press conferences soon.
