Warface free-to-play for Xbox 360 owners

Crytek has officially launched free-to-play shooter Warface on the Xbox 360.

The game had been in an extended beta, but now players can download the final version from the Xbox Game Store.

There's a five soldier co-op mode and a competitive 16-player versus mode,  while players are given a choice of four classes: Sniper, Rifleman, Medic or Engineer.

Crytek is also promising a regular batch of content updates, such as daily co-op campaign missions, new maps and new weapons.

Xbox 360 players will have to be Xbox Live Gold members to have access to the game, but other than that you can play without having to spend any money.
